Okay ladies,
Gonna do my first haul! I think that you would call it a collective haul because I didn't get them all at once but probably over the space of a month or so. Look out for a review on some items in the near future. Next time I buy something it has to be clothes, my wardrobe really needs some serious updating.
First up:
Klean Color Nailpolishes
This is my new obsession. This brand has recently popped up out of nowhere I think and their stuff are CHEAP but can I say I own 7 polishes in this brand and not one of them are streaky, not one of them chip easily and the colour pay off is as true as it can get. They need to brief the other companies on what their formula is because I am ready to snap up more colours as soon as I can. I went on the website and they have a new product out called "Madly Matte" that mattifies any colour that they have. From the pictures on the site it looks amazing and I am on the hunt for it.
Next we have
Over the Christmas I went to the salon and fell in love with this deep plum colour that the manicurist painted on me. The minute it started to chip I went on the hunt to try to find the shade. The polish was Midnight Plum by Avon and I could not find it anywhere which wasn't a big shock considering Avon isn't really sold in stores (duh J!). So I found two shades that I thought were acceptably close to it. These were : Maybelline Express Finish in Plum Intense and Grape Galaxy by Brucci . Not quite the colour I wanted but close enough, they almost look black but they really are a deep purple and I loooorve how they look on my nails.
Moving on now to makeup:
The one on the top is Love Me 365 Jumbo Twist Stick in Cream Brown and the one on the bottom is Jordana Eyeshadow Stick in Radiant Violets. I have plans to use these as bases for my eyeshadow. The cream brown one is a lovely deep brown and its nice and creamy w/o being shimmery so it will make an amaaaaazing base for a smoky brown look, no? I'm excited they seem to have amazing potential. I used the Radiant Violets on some bridesmaids for a wedding I did the other day as liner on the bottom lashline and it was so pretty. So if you have brown eyes I suggest you try and get this. I haven't made use of it as a base yet but I have an idea in mind- when I do it I will be sure to take a pic of it.
Top: Klean Color Retractable Waterproof Lip/Eyeliner in Violet
Middle: Klean Color Retractable Waterproof Lip/Eyeliner in Hot Red
Bottom: Klean Color Retractable Waterproof Lip/Eyeliner in Deep Red
The top one I bought to use as an eyeliner ( I do not see myself using purple lip liner anywhere in my future). Purple eyeliner is a fresh change from black or grey or blue and I think it's plenty appropriate for spring. The middle and bottom ones I bought for lipliners because I am going to rock a red lip very soon, I am feeling it coming on. I MUST do this before summer comes. Must!
Alright next
Everyone knows what Carmex is. I have always been a Blistex person but I saw it in the pharmacy and decided to take the plunge. So far so good. I don't miss Blistex or Chapstick and this seems to last on my lips longer than any other chapstick I have tried.
Then we have skin care type items:
This is Nutra Nail Green Tea Nail, Finger and Cuticle Creme. i was looking for a cuticle cream. I had been using ELF's Cuticle Oil Pen but t wasn't doing much for me. This cream claimed to be an 'intensive treatment for severely dry nails, cuticles and fingertips. delivers special conditioners that restore, protect and strengthen skin and nail surfaces plus the benefit of Green Tea antioxidants". Tall order for such a lil tub of white stuff right? Well ive tried and so far it is soooo much better than the ELF pen. I typically get hang nails every other day and with this I dont even see the little hardening of the nails I normally have to contend with.
The Neutrogena Wave - I will do a full review on this in my next couple of posts.
And everyone knows what this is- the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask. I think this speaks for itself. I'm gonna compare this with the St. Ives Firming Mask. BTW- i looorve the scent- it smells like winterfresh bubblegum in spearmint I think.
And my only hair care item:
The Garnier Fructis Fortifying Deep Conditioner 3 min masque for overprocessed, extremely damaged hair becuase lately my hair has decided to become a rebellious mess.
Long yes, but that's it! I somehow thought this would be shorter than making a video but now I think it would have been the same. whew!
But I sincerely hope you guys enjoyed it.
Till next time,
Lataz
